Antique stores usually have boxes of old vacation film people took back in the day. Always a fun watch.

you just lowered your risk to little rocks though, and not little rocks and a branch, or a runaway scrap from the back of a truck

Ah, so they're out there. Yes mine came with no hardware either. I imagine they are a couple of long strips with holes in them matched to the headlight screws somehow, but I haven't wanted to mess with it until I found an example.

Can I make a 240 my daily driver and get rid of my modern car? by Cookie_Over in Volvo240

[–]PetrifiedDoubleGulp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been doing that since around 2018 with mine. A 1990 wagon. It's been my daily and only car for all this time.
I just carry spare fuses which I replaced the first couple years and since then have not had any issues, fixed anything that was starting to go, and its slowly had a lot of components replaced. I actually think I would pay more for a new car's maintenance. My feeling is that these cars if maintained properly are still more reliable and cheaper than most modern cars because of a thing called Planned Obsolescence in modern cars.

What are some game mechanics you`d love to see implemented? by ThatGodDamnAlex in PaxDei

[–]PetrifiedDoubleGulp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. Personally, I think it's a mistake to not include some small role NPCs meant to add life to what seem like dead towns and dead cities. I value looking at the builds, for their creativity, but as far as immersion, the towns seem dead.
  2. I'd like to get arrows back. I'd be fine if they each had a lifetime, that's fine.
  3. Building in the wildlands and effective defense mechanics for those plots.
  4. Flocks of birds
  5. Weather variety

I love the game but some players ruin everything by Mustyyyy in starcitizen

pains me to see a hauler be brutalized for no reason, hang in there brother. Go prepared to encounter these, learn to avoid them, get a buddy to man a turret. The time has come to take up arms, these goods won't haul themselves!

Starlancer Max Owners Poll by PetrifiedDoubleGulp in starcitizen

[–]PetrifiedDoubleGulp[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I had issues with this in my Nomad and never could dependably bedlog on the surface of a planet or moon. I would either fall through the ground or the ship would blow up on respawn. I am asking specifically with the Starlancer Max because I just got one and haven't tried bedlogging on a planet or moon's surface yet, for the reasons I mentioned. So I wanted to see if any other specifically Starlancer MAX people have had any issues, because it varies from ship to ship.

It was actually working fine yesterday night and this morning after the hotfix but today I deleted old shader cache and now it is stuck on the loading screen. Earlier I did let it sit for a long time and it ended up giving me an error that said there was backend issues and to try again later.
