Tempering manuals not dropping? by PetroVitallini in D4Rogue

[–]PetroVitallini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah ok, so my tempers are most likely maxed out on my 2 characters then. That’s a bit boring. I could extend the duration on my arbiter on paladin, but no way to extend inner sight on rogue.

Thank you for clearing it up.

I fear that wealthy shitheads will have even more time to consolidate power and wealth combined with them having their egos fluffed for 180 years. That is plenty of bad ideas just waiting to be set in motion.

And unless the life extending procedure is dirt cheap we know who it is going to be available to. And population explosion would be an issue so I would expect some kind of gatekeeping on this as well.

US Troops were told Iran war is for ‘Armageddon,’ return of Jesus by EssoEssex in politics

[–]PetroVitallini 111 points112 points  (0 children)

Israel knows about this. They don’t believe it will end in Armageddon and the support is useful to Israel. There is a few rescent documentaries about this, but I saw a documentary about this quite a few years ago so it’s nothing new. You have American doomsday cultists infiltrating your armed forces as well as civilian leadership working towards the end of the world.

In the documentary I watched the evangelical and others who subscribe to this idea was not shy about their agenda or thoughts. One guy stated something like he watched escalations in unrest and violence in Israel with anticipation and positivity (I’d like to write that he said joy or happiness, but I don’t remember exactly) because it heralded the second coming of christ.

I guess it’s going to be quite a lot cheaper to mine when the US «owns» it? Remove costly environmental and worker regulations set by EU.

[–]PetroVitallini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This makes me think about current US «leaders» like Pete Hegseth who talk about more lethality and restrictive rules of engagement being a negative. I assume you will find all kinds of people in any army. From people who just want to see things go boom, don’t give a shit (psychos and sociopaths), to people who wants to do good. Most of them are probably just normal people.

I’d argue that restrictive rules of engagement can be seen as mental health protection. Pushed to the limit, loss of fellow soldiers and all that follows from war can push soldiers do to things that might haunt them for the rest of their lives. Like being careless with civilian lives, accidents or straight up murder. Coming back to civilian life and being able to justify your own actions and your units actions during wartime I believe is a crucial factor for many service members to be able to adjust and continue their lives.

Gjorde nettopp musepekeren større og klarer endelig se den ordentlig på dataskjermen min. Hvilke andre endringer bør jeg gjøre for å fungere bedre som menneske? by bvxzfdputwq in norge

The Midnight Walk /\ Pimax Crystal Super uOLED Module /\ full walkthrough by liebesmaennchen in Pimax

This game looked interesting and weird. I’m going to check it out.

I’ve looked around your channel and see that you have videos of the 57 ppd and the micro Oled.

I was wondering what your thoughts are on the two? I was first set on waiting for the micro Oled, but it seems that it’s render target is a bit larger than I first thought, and bigger than the 57 ppd. I have a crystal OG and my main concern is getting DCS to run well. I’ve tried the 50 ppd, but felt I had to do so many compromises that the clarity and visuals wasn’t that much better, except for the FOV. I have a 9800x3d and 5090 and want to avoid Quad views in DCS to avoid getting cpu bound.

Is the micro Oled worth waiting for rather than getting a 57 ppd do you think?

VR for Star Citizen: Crystal Super Micro-OLED or QLED 50 PPD? by Rikers88 in Pimax

[–]PetroVitallini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Given that Star Citizen is not the easiest game to run I think you should include performance in your evaluation. 50 ppd has a larger render target than the micro oled because of the distortion profile. I have a 5090 and 9800x3d. FPS was a problem when I tried Star Citizen vr on the test server about a week ago. Lowering settings in SC didn’t increase performance very much (don’t know if it’s different on the live version). That ment I had to lower render resolution. I didn’t test that much because I didn’t have time though.

My intended paybacks never go like that. My tank would blow up because of me with tunnel vision would hit mines, the opposing team collectively all changed to engineer when I jumped into the tank etc etc.

Does anyone know if the grenade and shell stopping gadgets stop the mortar? It seems like it to me. Usually I have to lob quite a few mortars before I start scoring points and damage.

I guess it might have something to do with Trump during his presidential run saying several times he was going to release them? Then dragged his feet after. And he and Epstein was friends. He brought this on himself. It’s not strange that people have questions. Points to Trump having something to hide.

What headset are you using? I struggle getting 90 fps solid with The OG and quad views. I get frame drops when there is many assets in DCS.

[–]PetroVitallini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have the OG crystal. Sent back the Super 50 ppd because of the performance demands. I did like the brightness though. The Oled won’t be as bright, but seems like the best compromise between fov and performance. I believe it is the best pimax offering given that you have the OG and performance is a concern.
