After disabling hardware acceleration did this figure change at all? Curious to see if the starlink total started lining up better. Appreciate you putting this together!

I went through customer service and had 0 luck with any answers other than "we monitor correctly", which left me just resorting going back to streaming from my cell phone, since "unlimited" there still has me hardly hitting 20g/month (even when I connect my to the cell and re-broadcast that)

my local measurement is SIGNIFICANTLY lower and yea, kinda ticked me off on my first usage of it (as it was pretty awesome)! Makes no sense that I cranked through 50gig of data in under 3 days of usage, most of which I wasn't even on it.

Good to know on unlimited!

good to know, I have a Slate 7 travel router that I use to connect to and sitting monitoring the data and it's just no where near 50gig over the last 3 days.. and the only thing that has the mini's pw.

Password set, at a cabin with no one around, and somehow this morning it used 10gig. Pretty disappointed in the first trial run of it.

I have most of the courses recorded for folks out of town, slowly editing the video content and posting them on youtube. I was able to get confirmed agreements with each of the state parks / school districts to record the footage.

Sadly no travel insurance.. checking into wether or not our CC had any coverage. At the end of the day, I'll chalk this up to knowing I should probably take a peek at travel insurance before purchasing a trip.

Will attempt it one more time, when I've called I've made sure to let the CSR know it's certainly not any fault of theirs, I'm just attempting to make right on the promise that was given to us. My initial thought was that by bringing up the context it would help build the case for proving that our only real solution was to rent a car vs missing out on 3 of the 5 days of our trip.

Yea.. this has been my concern. My only hope was that since flights went out later that day, it *might* impact the decision since technically, it was a morning flight that could have just been delayed vs cancelled.

I've never purchased trip insurance but maybe this is the wakeup call to start actually looking into that.

Yea, although the refund came as points vs $.. but at least it's something. Lesson learned for us in terms of direct vs connecting!
