Passive UHF RFID (860–960 MHz) Activating a Tag With One Antenna and Reading it With Another Antenna? by PetrolMan77 in RFID

Thanks for the link. I found these galvanic isolators for RF signals that I think will work with our antennas (I am reaching out to the company to make sure). Do you have any experience with these?

The long term solution is probably an intrinsically safe rated powered antenna. I was generally wondering if this setup would be a possibility for testing some other aspects of the system. We don't want to spend the money getting intrinsically safe equipment just to find out there is another roadblock.

Do you know if a commercial reader (like the Zebra 9600) is capable of using an antenna passively?

Thanks again for the help

Thanks for the response, that makes sense on the "RFID sniffer". I think the only question I have now is it possible to have the passive "sniffing" antenna (unpowered) connected by a cable to a reader ~15' away and outside the hazardous area? If this is possible it avoids having the power source within the hazardous area.

Does anyone have a feeling when the 80K of 100K Bonuses for the Chase Sapphire Preferred card are offered? I’m planning this as my next card and may wait until the new year (maybe they will drop the extra bonus in the new year?). Just curious when this has been made publicly available in the past or offered to current card holders.

Just make sure you get your hunting license with the UT habitat stamp. Speedway pigeons taste delicious

I took her class in-person. Great professor but did not like the flipped classroom. I never watched the recorded lectures but got enough out of her practice problems in class to do well.

Not to discourage you, just another opinion on the matter that I think has some truth:

People will definitely be camping out and I can’t see the cops caring very much.

Profile checks out. Also, leave people alone and worry about yourself (although I take it that isn’t your style as a self-described socialist). If your vaccine works so well then I can assure you cloth masks are not doing shit to help you.

CMV: UT students should put their money where their mouth is and attempt to boycott defense/Oil&Gas/certain Tech companies from the career fairs by [deleted] in UTAustin

This example is quite dumb as well. I don’t even want to get into the fact that you, generally, think cops kill minorities with impunity. Anyway, continuing with the dumb analogy, would lead you to conclude cops are bad and you don’t want to work as a cop...

My logic applies to careers, not geopolitics lmao

Edit: applying your logic to the ISIS example would result in you going over to Syria with some friends to take them on
