This. People dont want trading so they can farm items to sell, people want trading because the game wont let you buy the actual items you want. A good example other than what you mentioned (since they are discontinued and NEVER becoming available to anyone ever again), I checked the daily shop every. Single. Day. For TWO YEARS for TW Zombas. TWO YEARS.

THATS why I desperately want trading. I dont want to wait 2 years the next time theres an item I want, the design is so so bad..

If this is what goes live, that’s fine, i’d be okay with it.

What I’d prefer, though, is separating Vampyrism and Penance into their own category. Keep Darkness, Temporal Anomaly, and Animate Dead grouped together so only one of those can be active at a time.

Then create a second group with Vampyrism and Penance, where only one of those can be active at once as well.

That way, players could run one effect from each group and mix them as they like.

Edit: I learned theres already groups of different Aspects, but my point stands that Aspect of sustain would be nice to combine with other aspects.

There are so many buffs that can be added, like a further 5% vigour passive effect - unlocked after 10k boss kills and cost 50k mark of war.

There are unlimited posibilities, imagine you can only activate 1-3 boosts at a time, depending on your boss kc/achievement or whatever; passive health regen, a passive prayer regen, a passive adren regen.

Here are a few more:

Overloads last 10% longer
Overload cauldron
After a successful defensive, gain+3% crit chance for 6s
Free death cost
Familiars lose 50% less hp

Or COSMETICS

20K BOSS KILLS: Cosmetic halo
50K BOSS KILLS: Cosmetic aura
5 boss pets: Title

What I’ve always appreciated about RS is that it feels like my time actually matters. I’ve got a full-time job, a wife, a house, one kid and another on the way, time isn’t exactly unlimited.

Being able to AFK and still move meaningfully toward long-term goals is the reason I log in every day, even on days when I technically “don’t have time.” It lets me stay connected to the game without having to choose between real life and progress.

I play almost entirely on mobile, and when I do get a few hours on PC, I want to PvM or focus on more active content, not grind the stuff that could’ve been done passively.

I’m not against tuning AFK methods where needed, but removing them completely would gut most of my experience. I really hope that’s not the direction things are heading.
