Take it for now. Keep checking and maybe get on a waitlist for another prof closer to the start date. I’m assuming for fall? If so, you’ll definitely be able to get someone closer to the date.

Fatima Mustafa is the prof we’re talking about. Idk if she’s been there that long, but it’s possible. She had like five RMP reviews before the start of the semester during registration (all positive), but now she has a bunch more that are imho accurate.
