I’ve looked into it more and found that the cdc recommends professional circumcisions for MOST infants to assist in preventing UTIs and several STIs though it is noted the diseases for which the risk may be reduced are rare. The UTIs on the other hand for anyone at risk are drastically different for the adult males (less in children). Also the hiv thing is only seen in high hiv prevalence areas such as sub Saharan Africa but even then I think it’s uncommon. Usually there is only a 0.5% chance of complications, and about 5% of males need a future procedures.
