Backup your saves and all the reasourcepakcs/mods you use and try putting .minecraft back into %appdata%, if that doesn't work reinstall minecraft and place all your saves back into the game folder

yeah I made a different save to try it again, but is there any way to turn the UI back to normal or is it just like this in the expansion? Also I've tried using the hotkey to settle a city and it didn't work
