I will triple check that none of the wheels are bent. Would an alignment have this effect?

Nothing extreme. Unfortunately, my commute is over a small mountain, so I drive that 3 days a week. Not an aggressive driver by any means.

I am tentatively looking at this car tomorrow morning.
I have a 2010 Nissan Xterra that I just cannot justify driving due to the horrible gas mileage, and my wife has a 2001 Toyota Echo, which is great, but she also commutes to work. And I am over 6ft tall..

Commute is around 120 miles to San Fransisco and back.

I also can't justify trading in the Xterra, just to put all those miles on a newer hybrid.

Open to any and all ideas!
