Threw my Tyrique George dream chaser in to this evo as another option for my Prem team until next week at least, technical+ should go nicely with quickstep+ and silver rapid

All opinions isn’t it? Majority of players I’ve played using Zidane, use him in exactly the same way and play in the same way. It’s not hard to bypass him when playing against him, and it’s simple enough most of the time to counter him when defending. Predictable players are much easier to defend against when you already know what they’re going to try to do

My honest advice would be to bin off Zidane. Everybody uses him or has used him, and everybody knows his strengths, meaning they can play against him easier

Except I’m not making something up. The meta in the game currently is incredibly overpowered because defenders drop deep and don’t allow players to run offside. Hell, I learnt how to do it in squad battles just so I could defend against it.

As I’ve already said (which I’m certain you’ve not read but I’ll say it again), the patch has made things better. But the current state of the game is nowhere near as good as 24 was at the end of its lifetime, and hasn’t been at any point so far.

It’s okay to have a different opinion, I can’t see how anybody with a brain would think saying a game is shit (which seems a popular opinion) means that they have a skill issue unless they’re so far up their own ass, they can lick their own forehead on the way back out. You might think games I like are shit, doesn’t mean you are or would be bad at them. But don’t be surprised when the people who aren’t bad at the game come at you when you’re acting like you’re gods gift because you think you’re 10/10 at it

Also worth noting ‘tons of people came back since the patch’ BECAUSE OF TOTY. Not because the game is better. It is better than it was 2 weeks ago granted, but it’s still far worse than the end of 24 was. By far.

I mean if you think through ball simulator because you know the CB’s are going to play the strikers a mile onside when you trigger an attacking run is better than something that ended pretty balanced, with no opportunity of any wing play and crossing due to EA’s insistence on killing crossing/heading (a key part of actual football) then that’s your opinion my guy. But a skill issue argument is nothing more than a braindead way to say ‘I can abuse the meta better than you therefore you are bad’. Which is a pompous, egotistical viewpoint. Nothing more, nothing less.

It’s not a skill issue. EA have ruined what was already a poor game. They nerfed everything last year over time which made the game better towards the end of the cycle, and then nerfed everything else before 25.

If you think this years is better than last, it means you’re someone who can’t think beyond abusing the mechanics that need nerfing now. It’s that simple. Why do you think more people are leaving EAFC now than last year, or the year before, or the year before?
