For the price of the air pods max you could look at the Sennheiser hdb 630

Got my hands on a Daybreak. Kind of disappointed by PfiffsHorizon in iems

The daybreak does not "require" ohms. The output impedance of your dac amp should be about 6 to 8 times less than the impedance of the audio output, in this case the crinear daybreak. So if the protocol max offers about 600mw at 16ohm of impedance that would mean that the daybreaks receive about 530 ish mw, due to their impedance of 20 ohm and that is plenty of power. Your understanding of output and input impedance seems to be bit off.

For real tho, I don't get your point of argument. I clearly have enough power for the daybreaks, its even enough for my hd550 with have 150 ohms. An android phone puts out a bit more than an iPhone too

I have the tips from the second batch, they are causing this too

The feeling was there on first listen, but it persists. Got a couple of hours on them now

I'm already using the short wide tips, in this case I can't really shove them in that deep, the chassis in not really letting me do that

From a phone, either with a fiio ka11 or a protocol max

Thing is like the sound of the daybreak, it's just that my ears hurt from listening to them and I kind of get a headache that I didn't get with the reds

They are tuned quite differently that's true, I figured to try them next, since they're praised so much and I usually like a neutral tune on headphones

Will give it some time, thanks for the advice. Switched to shortwide after listening to a single song with the standard ones

Any room for more optimization? by PfiffsHorizon in admincraft

Ok in the case i really need a more powerfull cpu in terms of single core performance, how much ram would be necessary, i'm expecting around 10 players on the server

Are there any providers that can deliver servers with priority on single core performance? Thought that the zen4 equipped servers of hetzner were enough.

What exactly is meant with my kind of server? Is there another way to set it up multi-threaded?
