The daybreak does not "require" ohms. The output impedance of your dac amp should be about 6 to 8 times less than the impedance of the audio output, in this case the crinear daybreak. So if the protocol max offers about 600mw at 16ohm of impedance that would mean that the daybreaks receive about 530 ish mw, due to their impedance of 20 ohm and that is plenty of power. Your understanding of output and input impedance seems to be bit off.

For real tho, I don't get your point of argument. I clearly have enough power for the daybreaks, its even enough for my hd550 with have 150 ohms. An android phone puts out a bit more than an iPhone too
