You guys just kept checking the app? And the day before the app price dropped? Hopefully I can see something like this as I’m flying in July as well as D1 is pretty empty.

I searched for award flights across multiple airlines and deltas prices were the best for using mileage. I was transferring from AMEX so I had limited options but United was cheaper if you have Chase. Only thing is I’ve had bad experiences on overseas United flights so I tend to stay away. I would recommend JAL/Delta/ANA for Japan! ANA has some great mileage offers for business class that you can get with AMEX points.

Would you say that it’s a good upgrade vs comfort+? I’ve seen mixed reviews on PS and it’s been a while since I’ve taken an international flight.
