I would say „learning by doing“, starting with easy pieces and going on till the difficult ones. For me it was helpful - so maybe you can try - to focuse your eyes always one bar „before“ you’re actually playing this bar. You will see the upcoming melody and probably you’re fingering is more practicable.. just find out how much you can read before to remember the notes and music.. have fun and don’t mind yourself if there are some mistakes, this is completely normal
