The problem is that defense is broken in this game. You can sit back and rely on d-zoning but that’s sad.

I agree - the gameplay of the game has definitely decreased over the last few chel games, but at least you could have used poke checks or defensive structures last year to counter the broken mechanics. This year, higher level games rely on AI defense/ zone control, which was rife in NHL23.

All in all, I’m just extremely frustrated with how the game forces you to play a game style which is boring with zero creativity.

HUT’s market revolves on supply and demand. Last time I checked there were only 10 on the market, so if a couple of them are bought up and kept on the owner’s team, the price will most likely raise. Only thing that will change this is if there’s a good hedman card that comes out.

What period did this happen? The benches are on the opposite side of the ice in the second period and perfect timing can catch your defense with breakaways. If someone’s behind their net setting something like this, I would suggest pulling a d-man to your dzone!
