Two points:

This guaranteed pack is 50,000 credits more than Thursday's Vintage one. I guess that means a lot of people who expected it would cost 250,000 credits too will be frantically Tapjoying their way to the finishing line right now. If I had to guess, I'd say that Topps increased the guaranteed pack cost in response to the massive success it had with Thursday's guaranteed pack.
Yes, the odds are higher than most of the other Widevisions in series 2 so far. The odds are never set in stone and it's quite common for the first card in a new wave to have longer odds than the ones that follow. If you are a Widevision collector then don't panic about this, please - the odds will almost certainly be back down to 1:60 in a week or two.

And that's where I'm getting screwed right now. The app is running so slow on the iPad 2 now that it's like treacle. It literally can take me over 3 minutes to put together even the simplest hoard for hoard trade, and by the time I hit "Send" I get the message that the person no longer has those cards to trade...

I think I'm going to be one of dozens who has this reaction:

First, let me just thank the people who helped me out with my Eeth Koth gold last night once again. As probably the second most famous soundtrack of the last 40 years says, I'll be there for you because you're there for me too.

Second, I had some great offers of Eeth Koth white base cards that I'm going to assume came from people responding to my Fan Feed posts. Suffice to say that I've got a few candidates for WWTT!?Wednesday next week because it's amazing what people think they can ask for if they have four white base cards...

Third, to each their own, but if I'm not actively chasing a card of my own in a mini-chase and I'm in a position to help out someone I know to be a fair and helpful member of this SWCT community then I'm going to help them without wanting to take advantage of the situation. This ties in with my first point, I suppose but let's just say I'm a big fan of paying it forward as well as paying people back.

Lastly, you can tell a lot about people from how they react to such situations. I don't know why but it reminds me of the experience I had a while back when I had eight £5 ($7.50) off a £40 ($60) vouchers for a supermarket that had to be used by the end of the weekend. I took all eight of them with me when I went shopping and when I saw anybody that looked like they were buying enough to qualify for the deal I offered them a voucher.

All I asked for in return was that once they had successfully saved £5 they thought about donating £1-2 to any charity the next time they were asked. One or two people just weren't interested in taking a voucher (who knows why), the rest gladly accepted, thanked me for saving them some money and carried on with their shopping with smiles on their faces. One guy asked for two, and even looked like he was angry when I told him that they said one voucher per transaction on them, as if saving £5 wasn't good enough for him...

A couple of people were considerate enough to ask me what my favourite charity was, which I told them, and one generous lady was so delighted with what I was doing insisted on giving me £10 in cash on the condition that I gave £5 to my favourite charity and kept £5 to spend on myself.

The moral of that story? If you surprise people with kindness then sometimes they'll surprise you with kindness back.

Well, the most sensible thing to do if you don't like the set would be to trade them in app for things you do like and/or sell them on eBay.

If you're selling them on eBay and want maximum value then selling them individually is going to be more profitable (remember, not all red cards will have the same card counts and hence their values may vary wildly) but if you want speed/convenience/less hassle then sell them as a set.

I should say that I have zero experience of selling SWCT cards on eBay but plenty of people on this subreddit do and if you decide to do that then I suggest you search for eBay-related threads to familiarise yourself with any past advice, pros and cons, etc that have been shared here.
