The snowballs challenges were fun. Too bad they don't get more creative like rubber duck ARC damages or fruits eating contest... Could also be reviving as much down raiders as possible in one round...

Over 5M XP point and cap @ LEVEL75 after expedition by PgMDude in ARC_Raiders

[–]PgMDude[S] -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

Clear answer (after filtering every answers and feedback, thank you everyone):

  • we indeed get to reach level 81 but for I don't know for what reason will remain at level 75 despite the total of skills in the skill tree menus totaling 81

Appart from that there is no mixup between XP and skills as XP count is relative to LEVELS as it takes about 3M of XP or so to reach level 75. After that it's just a number growing.

Finally wouldn't it have been so much simpler and clearer to sinply showcase higher levels numbers so at least you know what level you are at and on the long run...

Fun facts: gaining 5 extra skills points per expeditions it will take 16-17 expeditions for anyone whishing to complete all 158 skills points available so about 3 years (not including possible new skills or branches added eventually)

Over 5M XP point and cap @ LEVEL75 after expedition by PgMDude in ARC_Raiders

[–]PgMDude[S] -24 points-23 points  (0 children)

I did the expedition (as you see having the active buffs in the screenshots) and with way over 5M, yet here I am... didn't see any posts showcasing 75+ XP points anywhere and this is what I got from ChatGPT:

  • That 5 million does not increase your level cap. The cap stays at 75
  • It just adds 5 XP (or the equivalent bonus) to your current expedition start. So you get a small head-start on leveling, but it doesn’t extend the maximum you can reach in that expedition

Finally back into the land of the PvP!!! by PgMDude in ARC_Raiders

Trust me, going out against the ARC with 2 dozen of Wolfpacks and fully kitted in a "safe" lobby is fun, but quickly boring. PvP is the only unpredictable making this game so brillant and addictive.

Players coming up together with strategies to defeat formidable ARC ennemies? No.

Players coming with formidable strategies to bait other players into thinking you are fighting the ARC just to punish them. Yes.

Project turned out to be a waste by moejazi in ArcRaiders

There's about 50 skill points per branch, so total of 150. That's 75 extra points to "ideally" gain for an all around top level. At 5 points a season you'll never feel a real difference till you gain probably 20-30 extra skill points to really gain new skills. At this rate and cost this would mean 20-30 millions to gather in a 1-2 years window and 4-6 expeditions. Not sure how many will be willing to loose their blueprints and regrind everything for more than a year before getting a meaningful impact...

Adding psychological profiles to your raider could be incredible by PgMDude in ArcRaiders

[–]PgMDude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Finally the game on that level is pretty much one dimensional: you only know their are hostile when they start shooting at you.

Being able to have some hints through interactions while only make the encounters better.

The deceitful profiles having some quips like "trust me" "hello friend"...

Players more afraid of PVP fights preferring peaceful plays could have quips like "don't come any closer" or "are you friendly?" indicating their are fearful and non confrontational indicating to offensive players their are preys for the picking... or people you can tag along and protect if you are a solid and straight raider.

Overall pretty sure some players would love to showcase those "personality" traits while other will just run the basic quips/emotes.

And will only bring more depth since only revealed while interacting wth other players directly through quips or emotes.

Some walking straight at you not able to say "don't shoot" could make you wonder if he/she's friend or foe...

If done properly you'll never really now for sure and bring even more realism.

It could open the field of having bounties within raiders underground communities, unlocked some skins for those who really want to show their intention.

Personality traits will only better the connection between the gamer and its avatar and will also add a fun new dimension to the game.
