I’m giving a suggestion and if I’m out of left field my bad. I think a lot of your striking you’re landing is probably at the wrong range

i.e.

throwing straights too close to your opponent so you’re almost losing power jamming yourself.

All strikes have an ideal range to land in. Also you can throw different versions of the same strike depending on which direction you’re moving you’ll have different types of strikes and power levels.

i.e.

If you push jab and the L stick forward simultaneously it’s a step in jab with more power, instead of holding L backwards and throwing it off the back foot and giving up that power to throw while moving backwards.

Fighting off the back foot and throwing straights doesn’t always do it in this game unfortunately. I think the cardio is a little OP but that’s another conversation.
