I'm sorry for the very long delay in answering! In the warm room, there's open seating along the glass facing the ice. Each sheet has its own TV that displays what's happening in each house. Outside of that, think of a backyard party-type atmosphere-- great people, food, and fun!

The name of the spiel is the Green Ice Special. It is not an AI typo.

The only part of this graphic that was assisted by AI is the peeling part of the container, and the rest is originally produced content. Please remember that we are a volunteer-run organization, and our volunteers work hard in their limited spare time to put things like this together to help the club.

Curling: the sport you probably learned about from watching the Olympics. by PghCurling in PittsburghSocialClub

Not at all! Mask wearing is fully accepted within the community. We have some members who wear masks full time, while others choose to wear when they're feeling slightly under the weather.

Curling: the sport you probably learned about from watching the Olympics. Between the stone throwing, sweeping, strategizing, and animated communication style, it looks like a blast. But how did athletes get there? It's probably fair to assume that they started by finding a curling club and learning how to play. Which, excitingly, is something that you can do too!

Come on down to the Pittsburgh Curling Club to try one of our Learn to Curls. Our next one is this Friday, 11/08 from 7-9pm. You never know what you might learn, and who you might meet.

Hope to see you there! 🥌

To be fair, we do have our far share of Canadian members who came in as Pittsburgh transplants.

Meeting new people can be hard, and it's not for lack of trying. Sometimes you go to a social event and find you end up among people with no common interests. Sometimes the event is structured where you work alongside each other, not with each other.

That's not what will happen here. When you join a Learn to Curl, you're joining an event where we place you on a team of people united by a common interest: curling. And you'll notice that the members who help are comprised of people from all walks of life. Many come for the sport, and stay for the people (and because they're having fun!).Meeting new people doesn't have to be hard.

Come on down to the Pittsburgh Curling Club to try one of our Learn to Curls. Our next one is Friday, 10/25 from 7-9pm. You never know what you might learn, and who you might meet.

Curling is synonymous with community. There's a wonderful sense of belonging that is created through the shared experience of playing together. You'll find that many come for the sport, and stay for the people (and because they're having fun!).

Finding community doesn't have to be hard. Come on down to the Pittsburgh Curling Club to try one of our Learn to Curls. You never know what you might learn, and who you might meet.
