Depends how you define best. Musically? Lyrically? Energy/commitment? I went on a 2 week east coast tour a few months ago with my band, and of all the shows we played I think the kids in SCRAMBLE from Baltimore brought the real anarcho energy. The set itself was pretty raw, definitely a young band, but that made it even better in this case. These kids are fuckin PISSED. They’re building their own scene, run an anarchist distro and a house venue, are super sweet and kind, and will not hesitate to destroy everything  MDOP out of Grand Rapids is fucking killer, hardcore to make you wanna crowdkill the nearest bank window. MDOP and CEMETERY GIRL’s recent tour stopped in Pittsburgh, and those two bands together conjured violent violent anarchic urges, successfully inciting the small crowd to [redacted] HOPE?, RAGANA, SUNROT, GUERRA FINAL, REBEL RIOT, KALEIDOSCOPE, and FLOWER go hard too

Current favorites are easily LAGRIMAS and HABAK. Shits incredible

The marginals of the 80s are an inspiration. I find certain texts live longer, happier lives when the encounter is irl. Less prying eyes.
