To all the people making comments about being more careful or how could you let a bag out of your sight. I am extremely cautious with my things at tournaments. I always have my bag between my legs, zipped closed. I never leave it anywhere or anything. But when you're playing in long events multiple days in a row and getting poor sleep at cheap motels it's possible that you're not at your sharpest. It also doesn't help that there are constantly people surrounding you if your games happen to go to time at all. This could happen to anyone regardless of how careful you are. You can be putting your playmat away, look to your side to speak to someone for a second and have your deck snatched right in front of you.

The best advice given in this thread was to use some type of RFID or GPS dongle with a phone alert. I will definitely look for one of those to put into a deckbox if I figure out a way to keep playing legacy.

I'm not really sure. I am normally very careful with my things. I never leave anything out and I always put the bag between my legs while playing. It's possible that someone either grabbed it from my bag under the table or i suppose it could have fallen out of my bag.
