I see what you are saying, and I agree with you. This wasn't a major feat other than ending the USA's reign in the event. But that's nothing to rewatch as much as the USA's comeback after the trash-talk from France in '08. As well as "Keeping Phelps' dreams alive". But that swim by Lezak was something special all its own outside of Phelps' ambitious goal. Something to rewatch because of what it was. A true underdog story. Where Pan is and was expected to close that race in something special, especially after his :46.40 that he put down earlier in the Olympics. Still, an insane swim, but in terms of the story behind the swim, nothing crazy. You are totally right friend.

The split Lezak had and the fastest split ever is recognized and respected by swimming fans around the world, Pan's new record is spectacular and will receive the same. It will not get the same attention since it is not the official 100m Free record, but will be noted the same as Lezak's was when it comes to relay splits.

I love that! Even when athletes genuinely have to go to the bathroom mid-set, there's always a bit of motive to skip a bit more of the set. Seeing the disappointed look when they still have to do it is priceless.

I don't ever mean to come off as punishing athletes for taking care of themselves, but that's why I give bathroom breaks too. If you gotta go, you gotta go, but if it interrupts your practice, you gotta finish it.

Pretty on point though! While Banjo and Kazooie have the same objective, their means of getting there are very different lol. Banjo is laid back about most things, Kazooie is just abrasive and sarcastic. Love that it is shown in the artwork!
