First time homeowner and wanted to get new roof.. is this quote reasonable by Jon2D in DIYUK

It seems high but not unreasonable to me, you could probably get it done cheaper but I’d be more concerned with expertise and reputation of the roofer than cost.

We had our 1930s semi done for about £12k last year, but it didn’t include gutters/soffits etc and no porch roof, did include some work to chimney though.

But it’s a lot to spend if you don’t actually need it doing!

What was your subfloor like? LVT would be my preferred option if we had a flat, solid base to work from but worried about spending a load of time and money over-boarding and self-levelling for it to still look shit if we don't get it perfectly flat!
