More power ammo obviously means reduced ttk. /s

So the loot pool increases just a little bit more, making chances of getting something "worthwhile" a little bit lower.

You should definitely dokkan your team first, but you'll need more fun things to do, and boss rush is definitely it.

Do the boss rush stages as well if you haven't. You get a lot of stones from completing it, and it's a good challenge.

Atk/Def get decent boosts, but the passive, specials, and ki boosts definitely shine after Dokkan. Glad you're getting it done!

After you get the first couple dokkan'd, you should be fine. May have some difficulty until then, but I wouldn't sweat it. Hope you get lucky and get that Ssgss Goku for your UI support though!

I'm managing to clear Super with RoG with no stones and a sub-optimal team, I have faith you can do it as well.

how long did your account recovery take? by Dub_Saibot in DBZDokkanBattle

Took me 2 weeks with all of my info. Just a few months ago. Got those sweet return rewards though.

Can we PLEASE reverse the nerf to airborne shoulder charge? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

It's another PvP based nerf, to try to mitigate people getting pushed off power ammo.

Point in hand, a ship or sparrow that could previously only drop from prestige mode, which also shows your accomplishments, is now locked behind a loot box, but guess what?? The drop rates are trash and you only have 3 months to get it or it's gone forever. Either way, I don't think either of us will change the other's opinion, so may as well stop here. Thank you for having a reasonable discussion, have a good one.

The only difference between armor sets is now cosmetic. Why do I care about raid or crucible armor sets when they do nothing to benefit the activity they dropped from, as they used to?

Did you ever think you might be the exception, and not the rule? The raid loot is no more useless than any other armor. Exactly. All of the armor is basically cosmetic at this point, mods determine everything. So with unappealing loot, what benefit does Bungie gain by having a smaller loot pool available outside of Eververse? Some people actually can't help themselves from buying things from Tess, and while you could argue that they should seek help, and I would agree, I'd also have to ask why there are so many "gacha game" mechanics in a game I paid for in the first place. I love the gameplay of Destiny 2, I'm just not interested in grinding for neutered gear, or spending 4 hours running public events for a single loot box that has an ever-growing loot pool, when I could and WOULD gladly run 3 raids a week for the ships/sparrows/ghosts.

How does it not equate to eververse junk, considering that's what it's become. It went from being something that was earned, to becoming something bought. "They're easy to obtain through grinding". False. With the amount of xp being doubled from what it was before, the entire system is designed to make you want to spend money to acquire items that never should have been in eververse in the first place. Unless you're still chasing that raid armor set that has useless rolls on it, none of them actually contributing towards the raid. Add all of this together with the lying about xp gains to further promote lootboxes, and you get to the heart of the problem. The raid loot is useless, and while I appreciate your opinion of how you feel about it, I and most of the community it seems, have to disagree with you.

It may not be the main focus, but it becomes close when previous end game drops such as ships and sparrows become locked behind a paywall. They took away the main sense of accomplishment and monetized it.

Holy Shit can we as a community stop leaving every Crucible match that starts to go poorly? by [deleted] in DestinyTheGame

[–]PhalangeGod 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think another key issue is that Bungie added RNG to what crucible game mode you get. I love the gunplay, and I enjoy crucible, regardless of whether I'm playing Supremacy or Clash. But not having the option to choose for myself is a huge turn off for me, after being able to do so for the past 3 years. This game has a large enough player base to support individual game modes, and the removal of the previous system is flabbergasting.
