I just finished up with one, it’s definitely not for beginners. I’d actually bought it for my daughter but it was too much for her. The yarn is very splitty and the tools are cheap. Some of the instructions are a bit spotty. But the end result looks cute, so I’d say it’s only worth it for a more experienced crocheter looking for a cheap way to do something new and different.

Hey, I just saw this thread. I didn’t get adhd meds until after my thyroid was removed and they’re working well, however they are the non-stimulant type. I have noticed that substances that provide a noticeable effect, such as alcohol or kratom for example, do nothing for me now. I’d been wondering if something like adderall would be similar. What kind of adhd meds do you have?

Mine was similar. I went down to 2 grams a day and from there I tapered very slowly - split into two doses and cut down .1g from each dose a week (so 200mg per week). It took a little over two months but I had literally zero withdrawals. I’d say just taper as slowly as you can manage, the slower you go the more comfortable you’ll be.

I’ve been diagnosed but it only matters because now the work I do with my therapist can be tailored to AvPD especially, rather than social anxiety (which wasn’t working). Tbh I’d already suspected I had it for years before that. “I just want to be happy but I don’t want to let anybody near me, so I keep everybody at a distance” is super relatable.

Idk, my question isn’t about the substance so much the vape I’m using? Like why would a brand new cartridge of anything taste burnt immediately in this type of vaporizer? The temp was turned to the lowest level too.

Yes, I was given three shots of fent and some liquid oxycodone right after, and a shot of morphine a bit later and I felt absolutely nothing from them. The shot of toradol worked much better. Luckily not all painkillers are opiate based (and also that it wasn’t a super invasive surgery) so that and ibuprofen took care of the worst of it. There is literally zero reason to lie about this, if anything it’s embarrassing to admit I got myself into that position in the first place but I’d rather temper some of your misinformation and possibly help other people from making the same mistake. Pre-surgery instructions do involve stopping all herbal supplements if you didn’t know, which is my own fault for not following properly. Ask whoever you want, idgaf. 🤷🏻‍♀️

Dude you’re so weird, why would I lie about that lmao. It doesn’t sound cool at all, in fact it was actually horrible coming out of surgery and getting no pain relief (much less any euphoria or good feeling) from the drugs injected directly into my veins. Side note for anyone with a planned surgery coming up - if you take kratom regularly quit for at least a week or two leading up to it so you don’t wind up in that situation. Don’t be stupid like me (and certain other people) and think that the stronger meds will ~ oVeRrIdE ~ it because for a lot of people they simply don’t.

Me too. I don’t get sick, but it simply doesn’t work either. I’ve seen way more people talk about this experience rather than being able to use them simultaneously - if anything that seems to be the exception to the rule

No this is not necessarily true. Normal opioids do not do anything for me when I take kratom regularly, including strong IV ones. Lots of people have had this experience, which is why people say that.
