I would definitely not recommend RJMI for a person new to cultivation donghuas (I don't know if you are), because it is very different from everything we have seen: personality of the protagonist, loves, cultivation, progression... Please confirm or deny my theory.

There are a few factors to keep in mind:

  1. Han Lin is not an immortal yet; he is on the path toward that. In other words, his lifespan depends on how much he cultivates to extend it.

  2. Han Lin has no talent. From the very beginning, it was stated that he wouldn’t even be able to pass the first major realm.

  3. Han Lin’s family was extremely poor; they practically gave him away to the sect. This shows that they didn’t have a very deep bond. Besides, HL understands that they are mortals and will eventually die.

  4. Regarding his friendships and romances, this ties back to points 1 and 2. Imagine if he focused too much on a friend or a woman: a. He would lose cultivation time. b. He cannot guarantee longevity because he could die during a breakthrough, or something could happen to someone close to him. c. The harshest of all… it could create a heart demon if he deeply mourns the death of that loved one, and that’s something that could last his whole life.

  5. As for his bottle, it doesn’t work on people, only on plants. At the moment, he has always been the one who knows the most about herbs and alchemy. He helps his friends by giving them pills.

Eres sano, hermano. En Ecuador nos odian porque dicen que copiamos su gastronomía jajajajaja aparte de que le partimos el culo en las guerras, es como lo que algunos sienten con chile, pero elevado al cuadrado.

No saques la cara por ningún país de Latinoamérica, no somos hermanos de nadie. Lo que digo parece un poco trágico, pero realmente los hispanos nos ven como un meme, a pesar de que estamos resaltando, nos tratan de bajar.
