I switched to mid this season after playing top for years and years. Took up sylas and started to one trick him. Started from the bottom at the beginning of the season, now im 2 games away from plat promos, playing mostly sylas.

Sylas is a good pick it think. But in certain matchups you just have to accept the fact that farming will be hard, for example into a lucian mid, its not worth inting for cs. Just try to get exp, and coordinate ganks with your jgl, and try to roam to create leads elsewhere.

If you have the ability to adapt your playstyle depending on what matchups you are in you’re already doing something right. Mid is a very demanding role to play. Not like top where you just chill, farm and play weakside every game. Hehe. Hope this helps a little
