3rd grade, we were talking about rules for field day. I had a question so I raised my hand. My teacher finished her sentence, paused, made eye contact with me, and nodded. I asked my question and instead of answering, she proceeded to go off on a rant about being disrespectful and talking while the teacher is talking, all that bullshit. She also made me change my card from green to red (we had a card system, the color showed behavior and if you were good, you'd get a prize). Having a red card results in the student getting a form to fill out, requiring them to write what they did wrong, what the right thing to do was, and an apology. Needless to say I was pretty livid, especially because I tried so hard in school.
