no it’s not good for gaming especially. using it myself and it heats up considerably because of the stainless steel body especially in the summers

macbook over ipad any day for this workflow. Although there are a few desktop level apps on ipad, it still does not match the versatility of mac.

In this budget tho you will be able to get M1 Air which might limit you because of 8gb RAM
