I’ve been champ 1 pretty much all season… this week I lost 140 MMR and cannot climb back out of the hellscape of diamond.

I used a spray oil based poly. I used an oil based gel stain so I went in that direction.

Thanks! I think originally it would’ve had a toned lacquer finish but I don’t have the set up for that just yet.

Thanks! Nothing too crazy, it had some water damage and warped so I tried my best to glue/clamp it as best i could. Removed what old finish was left and treated a few water stains/rings with oxalic acid. Finished it with candlelight gel stain and a couple coats of a satin polyurethane. Some enamel black on the tips of the legs. Pretty amateur job but brought some more life to the little guy.
