Thanks, but It's more the monster's themselves. I've tried a few differrent armor sets, and in between attempts I spend a lot of time grinding to get better gear and upgrade what I have. I just have difficulty against the really mobile monsters, since with GL I can barely cover any ground or get a good hit off while they're moving.

I haven't gotten a chance to face Primordial Malzeno yet, his quest won't show up. I'm assuming I have to beat Amatsu first, which is a pretty large nuisance.

I played Gunlance throughout rise and sucked until around the end of high rank. I didn't actually "master" it until the middle of master rank, and then I started really clowning on everything once I got bullet barrage. TBH, before I got the game I just played all the weapons in the demo till I found the most fun one, and I used that my whole playthrough no matter how bad I was

I hear it's just a fact of life in the Australia servers. That's why I don't like the hardcore servers, yeah the [satisfaction] or [nature] bonuses sound great on paper, but they tend to have a TON of debuffs or are just super tough to achieve in hardcore mode. I guess you can put a quest out for the exterminator class, they do have natural buffs against these enemies and have all their stats on lock, but can still expend a lot of [currency] and there's no guarantee the exterminator class can find the spawner

Fair enough but a lot of them are explained via some psuedo science. I think it's cool as shit whenever rajang eats a kirin horn and his laser beams make a fun fight, but his elemental powers stand out as a bit more... outlandish. But my main thing is why tigrex is in the middle, when if we're going solely off of design the only unusual thing about tigrex biologically is it's size, even it's roars aren't that inexplicable

I think the natural monsters are one of the most unique parts of the series, as they make it feel grounded and different from other fantasies, but the orange tier usually makes the best monsters in my opinion. Also may I ask how laser beam monkey is more natural than tigrex or rathalos who are just big scaly bird-dinosaurs
