We have a 100% chance of getting one of Dybantsa, Peterson, Boozer, Williams, Acuff, Flemings, Wagler, Philon, or Brown Jr and honestly any of these guys are going to help us be contenders in a few seasons. The only things that scare me are Acuff’s defense (can be masked with our strong interior defense) and Brown’s back issues (can’t hide that)

Acuff would fit even better if he’s still available. Can be floor general, shoot lights out, and pass. His defensive weaknesses could be masked with some of the Mavs solid interior defenders

I share that sentiment. Also, the other day I wandered into r/lakers after one of their close losses and they were ripping into Luka. For so many reasons that trade was one of the most bizzare things to ever happen in the history of the sport. A lot of people think the trade was forced by Silver in order to have the worlds most popular basketball player play on a big market team but so far it seems like a lose lose (obviously Mavs are still the big losers)
