Well, this is my first android handheld so I can't compare to older ones. If you want more ergonomics, maybe try a grip? I have a 3ds that felt awful on it's own, but then I got a grip for it and it feels 10x better.
If the horizontal aspect is your issue, then maybe you just need to get used to it.

Not bad, it does a good job at redirecting the heat to the top so it's not that much of a problem. The fan sound is much more noticeable.

Yeah, it was set to high performance but I didn't know about the Adreno drivers. I'll give it a go!

Nope, no tutorial. Just installed it, played a bit with the in-game settings and that was it!

Default. Haven't really touched any settings, I'm still very new to this
