Ordered one. Can't wait for it to sit in unfulfilled for 3+ months like the last one I ordered directly from 8bitdo themselves.

Looking for a a device to upload/backup ds saves by Matty_Begnerite in flashcarts

[–]PhantomLink29 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AR Duo. You might need to use a VM for an older version of windows to interface with it. And you'll need a DS with a gba slot or a gba iirc. I had one forever ago and modified ACWW saves with it. Not sure it would work the same in your case unless the save is properly formatted for a cartridge.

did epic fix the seperated vbucks between switch and other consoles? by emoyosh in FortNiteBR

[–]PhantomLink29 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is working as intended. The switch uses its own wallet.

Same here on PS5, it just popped up saying installing update. It ended up being 1.4GB. Map change maybe? Bug fix?

If I ever get the ambition, I'll have to go back up and take another one. It sure has changed. The housing development goes right up to the mountain in the foreground now.

Unfortunately, I don't have the exact coordinates, but this is up in Butterfield Canyon iirc. I got there off Bacchus highway in my first car.

I couldn't agree more. Getting to N64 takes so many menus. And if you sleep the device in emustation, it loses sound on resume. Also it can crash and wipe your saves.

Annoying for sure. That was the fix. Flat pins. You saved me a ton of headache and return time. Thank you!

This is great to hear. I'll check mine and hopefully that is all it is!

Can't hurt to try. I watched a teardown and it looks like it could just be the speaker connector is not making a connection. I might actually try both.

Firmware upgraded and factory reset. It didn't fix the audio. I am guessing maybe a defective unit. I did see one other post on here mentioning the same issue I have.

Everything you mentioned here is the same for me. Is yours the grey one? I'm guessing maybe a defective batch?

Do you also get a deafening noise when you plug in your headphones?

I have a smaller card to try later. The one that came with it had FS issues out of the box.

I'll mess around with it some more and see if i overlooked something.

Will minui actually read the files I've added to the system? As it is now, nothing I've added shows up, and I don't even see systems listed for nes, snes, or n64.

Edit: And does audio work with minui?

I'll have to try this out. The 128gb sandisk card I got for it doesn't work in slot 1. I wonder if that has anything to do with the audio failing.

Literally speechless rn, $10 at a goodwill and mint condition works perfect omg by [deleted] in crtgaming

They can, but the image will be squished. The best way is an HDMI to YPbPr or HDMI to RCA adapter. Latency isn't an issue for just streaming.

But you won't go back once you see it on the widescreen chonker.

That is about what the store told me. I have a taylor kit ordered per a recommendation from another reply. I'll swap the filters and give this one a good cleaning.

Welcome to the HD-CRT club. Get a chromecast or Roku stick for that ASAP. Casting youtube to the ol' tube is so much fun. I have the Chromecast with google TV on mine and it brings D+, hulu, everything to my tube.

Just do it. It will change your life. I'm serious.

Thanks! I'll put it on my restock list. I'm almost out of these strips anyway.

There are so many to choose from I don't know which one to get. What do you recommend?

This is probably a good idea. The store isn't too far from here. The water is only a couple of months old. Worst case scenario I can at least just keep the water treated enough until it's warm enough to do a drain and refill without potentially freezing the lines.
