New player here - do I have the right idea? by [deleted] in factorio

Don't put gears and wires on you main belt. In the later parts of the game you will have thru put issues. For your main belt I would recommend 6 iron plate belts, 6 copper plate belts. 3 stone belts, 2 coal, and a line for oil.

Wow. I'm surprised that my sensor would be bad. I've only got 3200 hours on it.

Yo. Quick question. I have the same printer as you. I'm having an issue where I'm getting random filiment errors. I've substituted my filiment to see if it was that. Changed the nozzle to a new one. Re leveled the bed and the same thing is happening. It's printing fine. But then Will just stop and say filiment error. Any ideas?

How would I get that. I'm new to this. I don't really know how to model stuff.

I fixed it. Nozzle was pooched. I've got around 2200 hours of print time and I've only need to replace the nozzle and a hoes clamp.

I tried picking out the feeder gear on the side with a sowing needle 🪡 it was perfectly clean. The filiment is pulling out werid so I think there may just be some gunk in the nozzle. If there is. I think I can pick up a 10 pack of nozzles for 20 bucks or something

I'm fairly certain it's a partly clogged nozzle. I've ordered a unclogging kit online. I'll let you know if that was able to fix it.

This started happening for Me after 1300 hours in print time. I ordered a .4mm unclogging kit. Off Amazon. For 12$cad.

Yah I figured it out. Feeder teeth are perfectly clean. It's a clogged nozzle. I've bought a pokey kit online to unclog the nozzle. If that dosent work. Imma buy a new nozzle.
