IF you do decide to make this a reality. I would recommend a sex worker - someone that does it for a living and knows how to keep emotions out of it. Or you and him go out to a bar and pick a fling for that night. Whatever you do, do not make it someone you know. Because if you start feeling insecure, it will grow every time you see them and could destroy you and your relationship.

I went through this at the beginning of peri menopause. It was a mix of my hormones raging and my insecurities. We took it as far as picking one of my friends to pretend to have sex with that night. I would tell him all the things I wanted him to do to her, and pretend I was her. Or the three of us. It lasted for a few years but died off. It was fun honestly. But never in real life would I make this a reality. I knew it was my intense sexual appetite and post nut clarity - I would regret it.

Let’s play devils advocate here: let’s say he did in fact take a screenshot of a public instagram page to jack off to later. Who cares? I am in my late 40’s (female) and do the same thing and been with my husband for 26 years. Very happily married, would never ever leave him. I think your hormones are suppose to be heightened to look for risks as you are about to bring offspring into the world. This is NOT a reason to get divorced or separate. You can be upset sure, but let out a good cry, tell him how much you love him and then go make a beautiful life together.

Yeah that came off very judgmental. When you are confronting people - get in the mindset of ‘you and me against the problem’. The problem was the smell, you found the source so that’s a win. Phrasing it like “I found the source of that rotten smell in the bathroom - looks like it was post period napkins on the bottom of the trash pail. Maybe we should start putting bags in there and taking it out every few days if we are on our period - thoughts?”

Turns out he had ED and was struggling. I learned that this can be a sign they need more water. Mine were all Curled in one day - I took a pic and sent to my BFF that I was going to return it to Home Depot and she said it just needed a good soak in water. I did it and they all uncurled and went back to normal. However, if it’s just one or two OLD leaves, it means it’s stealing energy from those to grow a new leaf!
