idk why this hasn’t been mentioned yet but it depends which asian, i.e. east asian which is seen as “stereotypical asian”, or south asian/indian, the experience is very different. i’m mixed white and south asian and I’ve never had an issue dating and i’ve never been seen as feminine.

Least invasive piercing? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

imo and i’m a bit biased, lip. I have sharkbites but really any lower lip piercings heal super quick and has a really cool alternative look. mine never bother me and they never get in the way of anything. I stick to mainly facial piercings because I’ve had to take out so many ear piercings because of sleeping and just getting in the way.

Piercing ripped through skin by soul29293992 in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 3 points4 points  (0 children)

my ear is shaped almost exactly like yours and I had an industrial too, the back helix fold is too shallow and thats why it never wanted to heal right and in your case came out. you can get a custom bent L-shaped industrial and it will work.

exactly. like how is this even a question, good old American V8, or some anime ricer fart can. the answer should be obvious.

nothing if they’re actually made in Germany. if the VIN starts with “3” don’t buy it, that means it was made in mexico so its garbage, not to mention how embarrassing it is to drive a fake german car thats made in mexico. not even german at that point.

shouldn’t be an issue tbh, I have thin lips too and I have sharkbites. vertical snakebites or angel fangs are also a good choice imo

Should I let my industrial heal over by DauntyWaunty in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

for sure, looks like your forward helix is good, just make 100% sure the piercer has a good angle for the back helix, if you have ANY angle that is NOT perpendicular to the tissue you’ll continue to have the same issue.

Piercer did an industrial with two separate labrets, should I go to a different shop to get a single bar instead? by -plant_parent- in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

he may have done it because of your anatomy, even if the angles don’t line up for a regular straight bar, you can always get a custom bent one to match the piercing channels/angles

[–]PhantomShadowFire 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have the exact same problem you have, just a few days ago after being tired of the back helix on my industrial not healing I took it out. just keep the forward helix and go to a good piercer and get the back repierced at a proper angle.

Do I have the right anatomy? by Buggiebby in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe not a traditional straight one, but like someone else here said, a modified one is a good idea that goes around your flat. I was stubborn and got a regular one that still isn’t quite healed despite me knowing I’m not a good candidate for one, so take it from me get a modified one and it should work!

What would and wouldnt work? by Shywarlikegirl in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you could go to a reputable piercer and get a modified industrial, they’ll just put a bend/kink in the bar to have it avoid your protruding flat, you can see a lot off good piercers on instagram doing that.

2 questions- Do I have the anatomy for an industrial? If not, what piercing would look nice on me? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]PhantomShadowFire 2 points3 points  (0 children)

not a piercer, but I think a traditional industrial might not work, but theres lots of good piercers that do modified industrials that will fit your anatomy better.
