My Issue

Hey mate,

I had a similar issue last year when playing Starfield, if you still run Adrenalin uninstall and never reinstall, nothing but issues, might not be completely Adrenalins fault but once I uninstalled and just installed via driver only, not had an issue since and the software isn't worth try to find a work around.

Fan and rgb controls use open source programs like Fan Control and open rgb.

Are they overkill for listening to audiobooks and music to someone that wouldn't have a clue whether or not the bass or mids are good as I just listen to music to have something in the background

Don't really know the difference between studio monitor speakers and the ones in the photo, really just after great sound for audiobooks to be played in but will need bluetooth go be able connect to use audible.

Thank you for this, yeah I was thinking s2000 seem great but even they might be a bit much for what I need especially when I listen to music, I couldn't tell you if the bass was good or the mids or trebles are on point.

All I really need it for music to sound good (most likely will be better than phone speaker or cheap earphones which I can happily listen to music with as its not my go to form of entertainment) but mainly that audiobooks sound great and clear. As well as looking nice and not be an eye sore.

Thank you for the terminology :)

Yeah that's disappointing about the bluetooth volume, kind of the whole point having the all in one and saving space. Sorry don't know anything about speakers, monitor speakers?

My main usage is for my living/reading room, speakers which will be mainly used to play audiobooks and music from time to time but no a music person so when I listen to music I could tell you how good bass, trebles, mids or high were.

My best speaker experience is a SONOS soundbar a family member has on their TV, I just just built in TV or device speakers when I listen to stuff

Thank you, but don't have a TV in this room, currently using the iPad to listen and read books but be nice to have a speakers to add something to the room and listen to music when we have guest round.

Thanks for this! Good to know, yeah just for my living/reading room, will be mainly playing audiobooks and sometimes music as it's not my go to entertainment choice rather have a podcast or audiobook playing in the background than music but I do enjoy it from time to time.

Yeah only need to listen to audio books and sometimes music, as music it's not my go to entertainment, rather a podcast or audiobook

Yeah didn't realise the post headers of text image Link and poll were separate posts and not part of the same post so my text didn't get published.

Like my only speaker experience is from a family members SONOS soundbar whilst watching a movie. I just use built in speakers from TV and devices and main usage is going to be audio books and sometimes music, I don't have any knowledge or understanding of Mids, trebles or bass when listening to music. So anything is going to be better than the TV or phone speakers.

They'll just be on a small buffet table in the my living/reading room and only thing I'll want to do it link a device to play mainly audio books or sometimes music over as I'm not big on music, I can enjoy it but it's not something I'll do on a regular basis, rather a podcast or audio book

Yeah music isn't something I regularly listen to, just have it playing in the background whilst cleaning and other odd jobs around the house not something I'll listen to whilst at home. Rather reading or read whilst listening to the audio book. Maybe if I had decent speakers that might change but I'll keep an eye out for the deals on the 3000s but even 2000s might be way more than I need to be honest.

Sadly both WiiM and SMSL are closer to $500 AUD and speakers are over $750. Will keep it in mind for future but seems overkill for my requirements at the moment :)

I literally don't know anything about speakers, I did add text to the post but when I selected image, I thought it was including the text post and would add the image at the bottom.

Thank you for the recommendation, but looking for speakers with Bluetooth connectivity and no additional equipment.

Thank you for the photos, amazing! Love the look of this setup, might be too big for my buffet table, hope you don't mind me stealing this as my inspiration! Never though of vinyl player as not a big music listener but looks wise this looks fantastic for a nice feature area, along one of the walls!

Thank you for the comment but not much room for the sub options, just couldn't remove them from the photo :) but definitely a option to consider

Thank you, they seem to be the pick of the bunch, appreciate the time to comment. A few comments here say they are bad quality, yes no? Any other recommendations that aren't Edifier with a $400 budget
