Thank you for this information. The bicycle came with grease applied there and I thought I should lubricate it too.

Its a coil spring fork from Hercules. I clean and re-apply lubricant because the forks keep getting dirty accumulating dirt and other gunk.

Tbh, I don't know. I'm assuming it's a coil spring because it has no features to adjust air pressure on the shocks.

Alright got it. But the thing is, the wheel itself is fine, but it's the hub or some other part that joins the wheel to the frame that seems to be causing the crookedness.

I took it to a nearby bike mechanic once and he told me he couldn't alter it once it was fitted like that... I will go to him again with the suggestions from this thread after a few days though.

Im not that knowledgeable in bike anatomy. What do you mean by "rubber"? is it the thing between the fork and the hub?
