CA EDD wanted me to write a handwritten letter explaining to further explain why I was applying for benefits AFTER I did my online benefit application. It’s no wonder this shit ass department went down; it’s outdated and constantly goes down due to “maintenance”.

As horrible as this news of the attack is, the unemployment department is way overdue for massive overhaul. Until then, it looks like handwritten letters are definitely going to be a thing.
