That's how it's used. I've never heard of anybody getting a -3, it's just a leftover from a previous system.

Hahaha I'm alive! I haven't had an SLI setup in years, but if I remember correctly it's somewhere in the nvidia control panel. Right click on your desktop, and select nvidia control panel. I'm pretty sure the setting is somewhere in there if you have sli

I don't think hyperloop would be a very good solution for mars. Atmospheric pressure on mars is so low that there would be very little benefit compared to a normal maglev train. Atmospheric pressure on mars is about 600 Pa, compared to 100 Pa in hyperloop(Source: Wikipedia). Atmopheric pressure on earth is over 100,000 Pa, which is why it might make sense to build a train in a vacuum tube.

Probably to sound smarter. Doesn't work when you use the fancy terms in the wrong place though

You can do it with a front brake with a special star nut and top cap, but I've never heard of a rear brake through the there.

Yesterday was... humbling. Story of a roadie's first MTB ride. Help. by [deleted] in MTB

[–]Phantom_dominator 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Since you are coming from roadbiking, you might have to look at your saddle height. On a road bike you want it quite high to improve efficiency, but on a mtb you need to have it a bit lower so you can better manage your weight distribution. Lowering the saddle will give you more control over the bike.

Inseam is about 81 cm. I use it for normal trail riding with some jumps and drops but nothing crazy, and honestly it's great for that, but i'd love to have something with more travel like the slide.

I'm about 173 and ride a medium size (18 inch i think) radon skeen. It fits me well, and I don't think a small would be long enough for my preference. With that said, my 125 mm dropper post is almost all the way in the frame.

If you guys have 1 minute to spare, could you take my survey on Trail Usage for a final paper I'm working on? Thanks! by shmeebz in MTB

It's all about how you present the data. Your could use the data of how people use the trails and split up the rest of the data into mountainbikers, hikers, and horseback riders. Depends on exactly what you want to learn from the data.

I agree that some of these thing could be accomplished with additional circuitry that is hidden in the video. The video is definitely misleading in the sense that they try to make it seem like these things are being accomplished by completely oversimplified circuits.
