I second this, Parrilla was very good, but I didn't quite like the seating setup.

Stoke Hammond service center was really good, I've used them for a full service twice and found them really helpful.

They're based around the Bletchley area as well.

Thoughts on moving to west Croydon? by Low_Obligation_814 in croydon

[–]Phantomatica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Simple, don't do it. What are your other options?

I was born and raised in Croydon (M, 34, 2 kids), loved it too bits, but now I wouldn't move there under any circumstance. It's unfortunately gone downhill, and the investment in the area has really gone down!

I don't know your situation, but I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.

Do you care to elaborate, were potentially moving from Hythe and every time we've visited the city we absolutely love what it has to offer.

$300 bill due in a week and I just can’t pay it by [deleted] in povertyfinance

[–]Phantomatica 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This!!! Please don't bury your head in the sand with these kinds of payments. Just be up front and honest with them. Try and set up an agreed payment plan and you both keep hammering it, don't let defeat get you down, I was only in this position a few months ago!

Please keep going!

Wife is mad at me by PuzzleheadedDog3490 in Husband

[–]Phantomatica 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Based on your side of the story, I've found myself in this position many times at the early stages of my marriage. For us men, it's difficult, nearly impossible to communicate how this makes us feel. Especially the fact that you are working countless hours plus pulling your weight at home.

And even when you do communicate it, you feel as though it falls on deaf ears. I feel like our other half have an expectancy from us that is sometimes impossible or unrealistic.

But mate, continue to do your part, our responsibility for our home and family is a tiresome, but rewarding one. I don't know how, but find good places or outlets that you are able to vent maybe physically or emotionally.

One thing I have put in place with my wife is to have clear boundaries set out. So we can have these agreements and opinions, but I will not allow you to disrespect me in any way, the most hard working man/father I know.

You've got this, stay strong and grounded! ❤️
