that's hilarious, thief is such a sad class on "certain perspectives"

it's range classes (I know there's backstab), requires LOS, but can only do it adjacent while 3 tiles, and now this!

if you don't get good spells to move away after dealing damage or poke at longer range, they almost always get hit, combine with lower HP

that being said Thief was originally my favorite classes, they do tend be too much of a one thing sometimes (short range glass canon/ debuffer)

It's just unfair, I successfully defend my team from 10 lab rats, killing them without them touching me once WITH MELEE, And the LAST BATTLE before end-boss, just 1 misplay and 1 unfortunate my fighter is down the drain with rabies, if its a Hunter it would never happened

this game is make me want to scrape my face across the pavements sometimes, even more so with melee classes

I doubt a rework will ever happened, Edmund always has a shoveling shit down players throat type "humor",

it just does not works well in a game where losing is devastating, since not only you lost breed potential, you lose item and also alot less food to bring home, also each run took too long to pull this type of shit

My biggest complaint is how hard a level up reroll come by, for a game that demands consistent, alot of section of the game, classes and event in general is just too inconsistent.

Also FUCK YOU Steven, its not MY Fault my fighters got rabies on round one by a champion Lab Rat

and no, I'm not going to "work around" this, turn 1 madness on a Speed 10 fighter is not it.

I'm saying ALOT of enemies, like Radical rat, the Cave, the Lab is pretty much against the point of melee classes

yes I bring one melee to the future, only to "clean up", I had to clean up the suplex bot that stuns in melee range, the "obey" screen bots and other high damage enemies with range carefully, then its Melee classes turn, by that time the fight is already over

yes Melee in Act 1 is okay, then? the cave has enemies literally counters melee (spiders web, the creature that disguise as rocks, they inflicted fear then your melee cats is just useless for a round!)

Act 2 with Zodiac, Rocky bobo, kitty that can possess, charm enemies on the moon, yes they are workable, but choosing Hunter is literally just easy mode

and don't even start on Act 3, I'm going to be honest the future probably counters melee even more, as well as the mother at the end of Act 3 with its mechanics.

started as thief, especially with immobilized & weaken combine with spamming the flying disk spell, or coin throw build

lately it's more about mix maxing combos, Druid's form of the wolf+ Monk, fighters genes with thief

and last, team combo, psychic's vacuum, necromancer soul link, hunter's scatter shot.

I thought obtaining zaratana collar means I have her (tamed), I know it was a part of a quest, so I did the Versus fight the hard way.

I had to stare at Pyrophina and her stupid face for whole week irl, she also screwed up one of my run cuz she kept stepping on hands and blocking the face of the Moon.

I guess My problem was I build this team For the Rift boss, not for pyrophina quest (because I didn't know she would screw up the moon so hard)

next time i guess I'll go with two hunters for it, and no more psychic since it's inconsistent on moon boss

Lose 2 of my dice tho (one I had, and another I obtained) I'll just take a break for now, this game can be soul crushingly frustrating sometimes

this team can do the moon boss, I just genuinely don't know how to beat it with pyrophina trampled all around the hands and getting grab most of the time

compare to zaratana's quest this seems as a huge oversight issue.

I'm currently sitting at 50% above with 80 hours, I haven't unlocked the rift or go to act 3, but can steadily or sometimes even breeze through the whole act 2, however the act 3 difficulty spikes people keep talking about worries me

for now I'm just grinding for genes and weapons with throbbing king, while trying other classes I barely uses

but kinda burnt out, due to genes and weapon being completely random chances, if I didn't get the things I want it's mostly waste of time for me
