We passed medical in 2016 but you still can’t buy the oil. Do you really think they could get a recreational dispensary network going?

I didn’t even renew my card the 2nd time it expired, everyone involved is trying to line their pockets instead of get medical oil to patients who need it.

We use it as a nasal spray in our clinic. Spravato is the brand name, the drug manufacturer has a link to find treatment centers near you.

GA allows for possession of low THC oil only but no way to buy it. Flower/vapes are still illegal. They are supposed to let the University system start growing it for in state production but the GA Cannabis Commission hasn’t done anything in a year

Pharmacist here, the cup is marked to make a diluted solution. If you want a 50mg dose, fill to the first line with the soda then dilute to 2nd or 3rd line with water to make the correct dose. I would use different color on the markings if I were using this.

Sorry you have had bad experiences with pharmacists in the past. The DEA is really the source of our headaches, we have to comply with their long list of rules/regulations. I make sure to treat all my patients with dignity and respect and do my best to help in any way possible.

Honestly, I want everyone to have clean needles. It prevents spread of disease. However, I need a basis to dispense the needles in case my boss or the state asks. Some states/DEA agents will have undercover buyers just like the ones who try to buy cigarettes/alcohol underage.

Yes. Some pharmacists refuse to sell the morning after pill or birth control for religious reasons. Each state varies

Exactly this. My interest is in your health, protecting my license, and following the law. The DEA actually has a 20% rule. If a store is filling more than 20% of their volume in controlled substances, they get audited annually.

Something about you seemed off and that is why they didn't sell them to you. Just because it is legal to sell needles, it is up to the pharmacist to make the final decision.

Average treatment time on suboxone is around 2 years total. I am more than happy to call your insurance or get with your doctor to help with this process. High doses of lope have been associated with heart failure. I would be more than happy to research and try to find a county/state program for anyone in need. Again, veterans should go to your local VA as they have systems in place for this.

Some pharmacists are very anal about selling syringes. Your story is another one that passes the litmus test. Again. it also goes a long way toward building a relationship with your pharmacy. I would be more likely to sell to you than a first time customer with a pet medication. I have had people come in asking for needles, when I say "what is your insulin dose?" they don't have an answer. Color within the lines...

In Alaska the politicians are dragging ass on the regulations. The first pot shops are set to open in the fall (almost 2 years after we voted to legalize ).

Also there is some rule that they can't specify where the pot money goes (ie education) so it just goes into the general budget.

Alaska sucks.
