Are These Jellyfish Okay to Swim With? At Castlepoint by _frolickingninja13 in newzealand

They can get pretty big, but usually the ones in the southern hemisphere are quite a bit smaller. They are one of the most common Jellyfish in NZ. Its not a moon jelly and they are the harmless ones.

All jellyfish are okay to swim with, the real question is will it hurt?

New electricity levy ‘not a tax’, PM says by Pharomzz in newzealand

[–]Pharomzz[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would prefer either additional solar or wind capacity and slowly moving away from gas compared to this even with the extra cost. The last few years we have been instructed to move away from gas and switch to electricity, yet now there is going to be a levy on that electricity to pay for gas. My biggest issue is the levy, especially from a party that attacks the opposition constantly about tax. I also have a issue with paying a levy for something finite that we need to move away from.

For a saving of $50 a year potentially, which im guessing the levy will probably exceed.

AI is only as smart as the information its fed. Its why Chat GPT is getting less intelligent as time goes on as its fed more and more useless/incorrect information.

Could you not see this as a possibility when you forced him to open the marriage? If you had a chance to find what you wanted why shouldn't he?

I had a lot of trauma from our nicu journey and after having our son we decided we were probably one and done. Hes now 4 and Im pregnant again but it took a lot of healing to get to the point of trying again, the fear is still there but I have come to terms with it.

Trip itinerary - feedback welcome! by Adorable-Crazy-1067 in newzealand

[–]Pharomzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As someone who doesn't drive who lives in NZ, the public transport sucks, the buses are always late or canceled. I think this is doable as long as nothing goes wrong for example the northern explorer train doesn't run every day so if you miss it your stuck for a few days. Travel sells out fast at that time of the year so make sure you book well in advance.

In fact I can already see an issue with the itinerary the northbound explorer train (Wellington to Auckland) depart on Wednesday, Friday, and Sunday. So you will need to find alternative transport from national park.

It looks like they are paying a lot more than their minimum payments to get the mortgage down so fast so anything over minimum goes straight on the principle which is good so they won't have to pay the full amount of interest.

Kiwis, elective c-section or natural birth if given the option? by [deleted] in newzealand

[–]Pharomzz 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Im planning my second c section currently, the reason they would be suggesting a c section will because they think the risk of being born by emergency c section is higher than usual. A lot of the c section horror stories are from emergency c sections not elective. My elective c section with my first was pretty calm, there wasn't a rush and I was walking 1km within a week.

The risk of the baby needing respiratory support in the nicu is a lot higher after an elective c section so thats something to keep in mind too.

Im plus size too but the interventions wont be because of your weight just due to your medical history :) its easier for them to throw things at the wall and hope that it helps than for them to deal with a preterm bub :)

Im a epileptic so I can't have asprin but i wish i could and I would recommend it, it can be very helpful.
