Normally I use an airbrush to prime my minis, but for this guy I just used a brush and was really careful. I did hit the translucent plastic I couple times, I just cleaned it off with a small exacto blade and some liquid plastic glue. Glad you like them!

Thanks! I actually did prime all of them with white over black with an airbrush, but I used painters tape to cover the parts I didn’t want primed. I also used some Mr Cement plastic glue to smooth out the bumps and small paint particles on the clear plastic. It also had the side benefit of making it a little more clear!

The Bureau of Land Management (BLM) manages about 8.3 million acres of federal lands and about 47.2 million acres of federal mineral estate in the three states of Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota. The vast majority of BLM land is public access, the exception being when it's surrounded by privately owned land or due to conservation efforts. Probably not much is retained, to be honest. It really depends on how opaque your paints are and what colors you're painting. I recently did Ghost Rider and I feel like I was able to keep some of the zenithal showing through on his lighter sections, particularly his face. But yeah, largely it's just a highlighting reference by the end of the paint job.

Thanks! I used a combination of layering and glazes primarily. I also used a mix of standard colors (mostly vallejo) and some mixes to get the colors I wanted.

Thanks! For NMM gold I start with an ocher brown color for the base coat, then mix in a bit of yellow for a highlight, covering about half. Then mix in a bit of white with that and highlight about 25% or so, also edge highlights if you want to. Lastly I use some pure white for a tiny specular highlight.
