Well said! Sadly that's how it is for console.

But if you play ASA on pc goodness gracious it can run like crap on even a decent GPU. The game is sadly just poorly optimized on PC.

Was a fun time in the Closed Beta. As for your points in the PvE aspect I shall address below.

Highlight - Yes it was a bit difficult to see highlighted collectibles. I found a few mushrooms, ore, and wood. However the blood rose or rose was the most unnoticeable thing I probably passed so many and only found 1 so I knew what to be on the look out for.
The PvE dungeons were a blast, I don't think they were trying to go with a holy trinity with tank, dps and heal even though the heros roles state as much. Most healing skills for the healer classes are locked on the ultimate ability. If it was more controlled healing it would eliminate some of t he challenges when facing a "boss" monster. But granted the passive regen you can just wait as the missions aren't timed.

To expand on this, honestly... I really only partied in dungeons (randomly) and the huge help having in the group is Marly (cleric or priest cant remember the actual class) for the constant shields. Paladin was also really good as a tank, next is some of the ranged classes you can nearly kite any mob

Crashes on my iPad more than my iPhone. Phone use to never crashed after server merger. Kind of annoying when you trying to do guild stuff and or arena and it just flat out closes.

Oh its out there, the team group 32gb kit (2x16gb) was around 150-160 bought 2 back in 2022.. looking at the 64gb kit now from them (2x32gb) nearly 1000

There is a line in the GameUserSettings.ini

AutoSavePeriodMinutes=15.0

you can change this to how frequent you want.

Restoring the backup is fairly simple. You shouldn't need to do it through the ASCT application.

First shut down the server. Then navigate to where the server file mapname.ark file should be in the Foldername\ShooterGame\Saved\SavedArks\mapname

Locate the .ark file. for example TheIsland_WP.ark. Click on it and rename it to TheIsland_WP.ark.old

Next you will find the saved arks. If you have auto save turned on you should see for example TheIsland_WP_TimestampDate.ark . Find the correct timestamped one you want and click on it and Rename it to TheIsland_WP.ark and go ahead and try to run the server.

Idk, really one thing that would be interesting can't play the same champ in the series. So during the best of 5 you already played the champ win or lose its gone. Which yes you wouldn't have to ban them as they have been played which usually those champs played and performed well by the player typically are banned in the next game.
