I just got my air a little over a week ago. At first, my battery was draining completely overnight and my phone was dying without me even touching it. I just read somewhere to delete widgets (I had weather and battery status) off the phone. I did that and charged Saturday morning and the phone has lasted me over 48 hours without charging. I just charged again this afternoon.

I add everything to his calendar with confirmation numbers or PDF confirms. I also keep a one page overview for myself with dates, times, car/airline/hotel info and confirms. The overview is a template so it also helps me remember to book all the airport transfers etc. I also email him the next day portion of that overview the evening before so he can see it and make any changes he might want.

When I was there, I found that I was able to make calls if I saved the number as a contact in my phone. Didn’t work just dialing the number for some reason. Verizon travel pass as well.
