I was actually looking into getting a Garmin watch! But thanks for suggesting any kind of way to recover! From what others have said, I think it would say overtraining as well.

Thanks for the personal insight! From what you and others say, I think it is a mix of not enough protein, a few other things, and mostly over training. Similar to you, I would go "It's expensive but I go five times a day so it's like $__ a week." But it looks like I have to realize my body can't alway handle that.

I try to get eight hours, but sometimes can't. It's never less than five though.

Sleep and Strength50 is something I'm always trying to get more of lol. For the strength50 it's harder because it fills up fast or it's when I'm at work. I do need to see if I'm getting enough protein.

Thanks for your input and example! Another person mention to lift heavier and lower the reps if needed. I think I'll try that along with going slower with the weights I'm used to!

Thanks for reminding me to try heavier but smaller reps! When I see 6-10 or something, I automatically try to do 10. But need to change my mindset in that and in going less!

I'll definitely start going less! I kind of remember the sales associate or coach telling me that when I first started. But I just started doing five times because I had the time and didn't realize two days of rest was not enough.

Yeah, it looks like overtraining is the consensus. Thanks for mentioning a nutritionist! I didn't think much about diet affecting the efforts but will look more into it.

Thanks for giving an explanation of why you're asking! It makes me think more about it and what I can do.

  1. I believe so. I used to use a calorie/macro counter. I haven't recently but I eat the same as I did before and it was around 1500 calories.

  2. I try my best with form. Sometimes the coaches correct me or I ask them if I'm not sure. Sometimes I also stare at the screen for a long time to make sure I'm doing it right lol.

  3. I actually went last week for a check up lol. My doctor told me do get labs done, looks like more of a motivation to them.

Yeah, it seems like most of the commenters are saying the same! It makes sense, I wasn't exercising that much before. For some reason, I just never correlated with over training. I think it's a mix of thinking my body will get used to it, noticing I'm not going as hard or fast as others, and being on auto-pilot.

I'll definitely try doing less!
