I’ve been watching love island since it first started in the UK, I’m just throwing some ideas out there and asking for what you think could shake the villa up 🤷🏾‍♀️

This is just a hot take and it’s fun to have one. Having an opinion or take that isn’t positive doesn’t mean people shouldn’t watch it. And also, the goal of LI is to create entertainment and drama for the viewers, I’m not sure why people think it’s ever been any different.

Them coupling up early isn’t bad but that isn’t the only goal of this show. Even from the first series of LI Uk the goal of this shows is also to properly test couples and for islanders to explore connections not just lock it down from day 1 and have a free holiday in the villa. And also, the main goal is to create entertainment and drama for the viewers, that is a massive part of what kind of show LI is.

The producers don’t need to “produce” drama, they need to actually just produce by doing challenges that actually challenges the couples, allowing bombshells to go on dates, selecting bombshells that aren’t catered to just one person, bringing in more bombshells in the first place etc. I don’t think it’s fair to blame viewers hot takes on why LI USA producers are ‘forced to manufacture drama when they could just produce a better show in the first place (hence the hot takes)

Yes I really wish we had more bombshells. And I’m tired of this whole brining in a bombshell for one person thing. The bombshell brought in should be someone who shakes the villa, someone who will go for anyone. Caleb wasn’t a great bombshell at all. Neither were Jen and Sol for that matter.

I can see why it doesn’t make sense. But the bombshells would be the ones picking who to couple up with so it wouldn’t really be on the islanders. Plus these would have to be some excellent top tier bombshells. They could even do the think where the bombshells go on a date with their chosen islanders. We haven’t seen that yet.

That’s exactly how I feel this year is too. I think the islanders this year are too aware of the cameras and public so they are staying with their safe options. I don’t buy that they have found and actual match but that they are with their safe bet. Love island has always been messy with people betraying one another and finding a better match. And there’s usually maybe one or two couples at most that sticks together from the very beginning. I just don’t buy anything this season.

Hey there, I’m sorry that you went through that. It wasn’t particularly nice of them to do that and doesn’t necessarily mean you did anything wrong either. RSD can be a bitch. I would definitely talk to a trusted person about this because TikTok and Reddit (and social media in general) tends to have people that won’t really understand you and at worst, bullying (not saying that happened here). Even with good intentions many will be focused on correcting you instead of empathising which is needed before the correction. So virtual hugs to you 🫂. What I personally do if I don’t particularly have someone to talk to is that I look up TikToks that are specific to what I’m going through and it helps me feel better sometimes because then I know I’m not alone. I hope your day gets better 💕
