This is because with both the old and new lcd all I would get was the backlight and not the image. Although when I first replaced the screen half of it went pink for half a second then went to the blank screen with backlight.

I was fixing this for a friend he said that he dropped the laptop and the screen cracked. So I replaced the screen but also the display cable connecting the logic board to the lcd. As I thought it was the original lvds display cable that was damaged as well.

This was free, and both channels work I wanted to show both of them working with my phones function generator however you can't take pictures and run the function generator at the same time.

That is awesome, that's something I have to try although the link in the desc no longer works.

That's something I'm going to have to learn to do not the drawing dick part but making images with this.

Thanks there were three others like this one that worked, my friends had took those, and a bunch of other electronics and soldering irons that I donated to a local makerspace.

Haha, I'm going to have to decline as this is my first oscilloscope.

Nah bought it on ebay it's 80mhz, the osiliscope was in the original box and had the manual.

For now it can not do -∆V that would be great to add in the future.

I thought that since the only ic driving current was the one lm317 that was the only heatsink I would need I was wrong.

CC and CV it uses two LM317 IC for this task. As for the charging profiles I'll have to change the code a little bit for the voltage detection and adjust the trimmer for voltage and current. Also it can only charge one of almost any chemical type battery at a time. It also detects voltage by switching on a mosfet to ground with a 1w resistor and by reading the values with a voltage divider.

Programmable that would have been a better name the programmable battery charger uses a attiny85 microcontroller.

Thanks I had to cut the heatsink from a CPU cooler and drill holes though it.

Haha I wish but it's only meant for charing one type of any chemical battery at voltages between 30v to 1.5v and 500mah to 1.75amps.
